Origins of the Wrinkle
Lecture, 3 Parts, 3 Hours, Friday 12:45 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.
Instructor: Cynthia Guffey, Cynthia Guffey Ent.
One frustration of fitting is eliminating unsightly wrinkles; above and below the bustline, in the armhole area, shoulder to bustline, below the base of the neck, the crotch area of pants, below the hip in pants and many more. Attempts to correct these issues often multiply the problems. The key is identifying the origin of the wrinkle and knowing the correct alteration to apply. In this series of classes, Cynthia will show the process. She invites you to bring garments with which you are dissatisfied in order to diagnose the origin and demonstrate the solution.
Part 1 will cover bodice back, below the base of the neck, shoulders, armhole areas and more.
Part 2 will cover bodice front, above and below the bustline, from shoulder to bustline, neckline and more.
Part 3 will cover pants, crotch area, below the hip, pulling between the crotch and knee, and more.
