Pam Damour is known as the Decorating Diva. She offers professional drapery workroom training to the trade. Co-author of “Pillow Talk,” Pam is generous in sharing the knowledge of her 29+ years as an interior designer and sewing professional. As a seasoned career speaker, she’s a member of SEA, ASG, and AQS. Pam travels internationally teaching her specialty techniques that have brought her years of continued business as the Couture of Home Dec Sewing. Host of her own web-TV show on sewontv.com “At Home With the Decorating Diva”, Pam is the producer of 13 how-to DVDs, a national spokesperson for the Warm Company, and Rowenta. Pam enjoys the hands-on aspect of the window treatment industry and has developed a 12-part template system to make custom window treatments that are taking the industry by storm! Pam’s new projects include a fabric collection and a new book called “Cheaper by the Dozen.” She lives on the shore of Lake Champlain in a log cabin, nestled at the foot of the Adirondack Mountains where she teaches sewing retreats and her teacher certification programs. Her down-to-earth nature combined with her professionalism creates a warm and creative experience.

Pet boutiques sell pet vests, jackets, collars, harnesses, beds, and other accessories for big bucks. They take very little fabric and are so much fun to make. Learn how to create these practical and fashionable accessories for your favorite four legged friends, learn about pet clothing software, and see a pet fashion show. Doesn’t your pet deserve to know what the best dressed are wearing this year?

Sewing & Crafting for Profit

If you ever wanted to start your own business but didn’t know how, this is for you! Join Pam as she shares with you the ups and downs of owning your own sewing or crafting business. Learn the steps in starting your business, how to market yourself and how to price your product. Having your own home-based business can be profitable and fun, if you take the right steps.

A Passion for Pillows

Join the Decorating Diva Pam Damour for pillow parade. Let Pam demonstrate many of her workroom techniques used in custom decorator pillows. Pam will discuss neck roll pillows, envelope pillows, padded flanges, pleated ruffles, ruched cording, double welt and more! Pam has special techniques that are easier and better looking than anything you’ll find in books.

Creating Terrific Toppers
Hands-on Workshop, Limit 20, 3 Hours, Saturday 9:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m.
Instructor: Pam Damour, The Decorating Diva
Spend a morning (or afternoon) with the Decorating Diva; learn the basics of top treatment construction. Learn how to match fabric at the seams, calculate yardage and add a lining. This class is designed to give you the professional foundation and confidence you need to decorate you windows the way the pros do!
Kit fee $25 The kit fee will be paid directly to the instructor during the workshop.
