Barb Callahan is a nationally recognized designer, teacher and lecturer. She has designed and constructed one of a kind garments using her label “Barb Originals” for over 25 years. She holds a degree in education with a masters in counseling. A Martha Pullen educator and an ASG and PACC member, she is known for her classes not only being full of information and highly educational but also full of fun and laughter. Barb has recently become a contributing author for Threads Magazine and Sew Beautiful Magazine and has also begun her own newsletter full of stories from the road and information on her products.

Vintage Is Back
Lecture, 1 Hour, Thursday 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
Instructor: Barb Callahan, Barb Originals
Get out all those vintage hankies, tablecloths, laces and even buttons. Barb will intrigue you with the magic she creates with these items. Hankies are great for making pockets, tablecloths can create a wonderful jacket, and buttons are used to top it all off.

Wool & Fleece – A Cinch to Sew
Lecture, 1 Hour, Friday 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
Instructor: Barb Callahan, Barb Originals
Wool and fleece are two very popular fabrics. They can be very easy to sew using some of Barb’s favorite techniques. Learn to pick the proper styles, create simple edge finishes, and quick and easy construction techniques.

Bags, Bags, Bags
Lecture, 1 Hour, Saturday 12:15 p.m. - 1:15 p.m.
Instructor: Barb Callahan, Barb Originals
Barb has created bags out of books, shoes, paper, plastic, boxes, and even clothesline. Come to class ready to take home many creative inspirations. Bring a favorite bag for show and tell!

You will need to bring the following supplies if you are taking any hands-on
classes: sharp sewing
shears, rotary cutter,
cutting mat, straight pins,
marking tool, ruler, tape
measure, #2 pencils and
notepad.
Sewing machines are
provided in the classroom.
